Hello! I'm Lena, or Green. I'm 20 years old, my pronouns are she/her, and I am currently studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Florida.
I have far too many hobbies I don't do but I enjoy video games, and my favorite media is surreal or esoteric. My favorite fiction features an unreliable narrator or subversive plots. This list will change over time and I will be adding mini-reviews of these as I feel up to it. As of December, 2023, my favorite works of fiction are as follows(in no particular order):
Video Games
Katana ZERO (2019) by Askiisoft
Garage: Bad Dream Adventure (1999) by Kinotrope
Outer Wilds (2019) by Mobius Digital
Paradise Killer (2020) by Kaizen Game Works
Return of the Obra Dinn (2018) by Lucas Pope
SIGNALIS (2022) by rose-engine
TUNIC (2022) by TUNIC Team
The Witness (2016) by Thekla, Inc.
The Looker (2022) by Subcreation Studio
Hylics (2015) by Mason Lindroth
:THE LONGING: (2020) by Studio Seufz
Sucker for Love: First Date (2022) by Akabaka
World of Goo (2008) by 2D BOY
Rain World (2017) by Videocult
This list, unfortunately, is a bit incomplete; There are many games I thoroughly enjoy that I'm not passionate enough about to want to include, or games from my past that I fail to recall. I will probably make a page with game reviews or something in the future! That should help me finish games too, heh...
Anime/Television
Serial Experiments Lain (1999) by Yoshitoshi Abe
One Piece (1997) by Eiichiro Oda
Jujutsu Kaisen (2018) by Gege Akutami
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) by Hiromu Arakawa
Movies
American Psycho (2000) by Mary Harron
Tom and Jerry: Blast Off to Mars (2005) by Bill Kopp
By far my least appreciated media category, I struggle sitting down to watch movies so bad. My hands don't have anything to do and then I get sad!
Manga/Comics
Jujutsu Kaisen (2018) by Gege Akutami
Scud: The Disposable Assassin (1994) by Rob Schrab
Hellboy (1993) by Mike Mignola
Books
Dune (1965) by Frank Herbert
Fahrenheit 451 (1953) by Ray Bradbury
To Kill a Mockingbird (1960) by Harper Lee
Flowers for Algernon (1959) by Daniel Keyes
I ought to read more. No excuses.
